Concept2 Hire Scheme

Who's it for?

For people living in mainland England, Scotland or Wales who only need a machine for a limited period of time (hire only) or who wish to try one out before purchasing (hire to buy), Concept2 has a hire scheme for the Indoor Rower Models D and E and the free standing SkiErg.

*Subject to refundable deposit (typically £49) and a minimum one month hire period. After the minimum period is up you can continue to rent the machine (no further minimum period), or return it for a returns fee of £30 to cover delivery and admin costs; this returns fee can be offset against your deposit. Alternatively if you are on the Hire To Buy option you can puchase your hire machine at any time during the hire period and receive the deposit and half your hire fees (up to six months worth) off the purchase price - see below for more details.

How It Works

You can apply either online or request a postal application form and brochure. When applying online we will return you three copies of the form which you will need to sign and return (all three copies) along with copies of a recent utility bill and either a driving licence or passport for ID purposes. On receipt of this paperwork we will contact you to arrange delivery - typically, this takes 3- 5 working days.

The first month's hire fee and the refundable deposit need to be paid before despatch of the equipment, this can be by debit/credit card or cheque. If paying by cheque please send with the applications forms. If paying by card we can take details when arranging the delivery with you.

Subsequent hire fees will be taken by direct debit, the first direct debit will be taken from your bank account one calendar month after delivery of the equipment.

Hire To Buy Scheme

You can buy the Indoor Rower you have on hire at any time during the Hire Period with the following discounts applied:

Hire Fees: We will give you 50% of any hire fees paid in the first 6 months of hire.
Deposit: We will give you the full amount of the deposit paid at the start of the Hire Period.

EXAMPLE: Hire a Concept2 Model E for six months and receive a discount of £229 off the original price of £1249.99, leaving you the balance of £1020.99 to pay, (figures in the above tables are rounded to the nearest pound).
